From the developer: "SetiBuffer buffers Seti@Home units to process, while unattended for long periods of time. It also helps during server problems, as you will have units to process until you are able to connect to the servers. The simple to use interface makes using the Command Line Client very easy, and a viable alternative to the ScreenSaver version of Seti@Home. The ScreenSaver version of Seti@Home requires you to connect to the Internet after each unit is processed, but SetiBuffer can process multiple units before connecting to send and receive units."
