ReadWrite Korean assists beginners in learning the Korean alphabet. Lessons include a structured introduction to each letter with examples of its pronunciation. Students can use the voice-recording feature to compare their pronunciation with a native speaker's. The writing lessons use animation to illustrate letter stroke orders and word formation. You can practice writing and receive feedback on your efforts. Exercises in reading and listening are also included, and they are designed to build a simple vocabulary. Version 1.11 adds new lesson navigation and has minor bug fixes. Version 2.0 of ReadWrite Korean includes a new interface, new lessons and exercises and double the vocabulary. Most lessons in this downloadable version of the program have been disabled.
