Point Cloud for Rhino is a plug-in for Rhino 2.0. This plug-in allows you to fit a surface over a cloud of points. The points do not need to be ordered in the form of a matrix. Point Cloud for Rhino automatically converts points randomly distributed in space to a well-organized surface. If you do not wish to create a surface, you have an option to create ordered points, lines, polylines, nurb curves, faces or a polygon mesh. If your source data is not in the form of a point cloud, then you can use the 'ExtractPt' command to extract all possible points from the drawing. This is possibility when you import a drawing which has lines/polylines which describe the motion of a digitizer or a machine tool.
