Point Cloud for AutoCAD is a plug-in for AutoCAD 2000/2000i/2002 which allows you to fit a surface over a cloud of points. The points do not need to be ordered in the form of a matrix. Point Cloud for AutoCAD automatically converts points randomly distributed in space to a well-organized surface. If you do not wish to create a surface, you have an option to create ordered points, lines, polylines, splines, faces, polyface mesh or polygon mesh. Point Cloud for AutoCAD adds a new command to AutoCAD called 'PointCloud'. Simply type 'PointCloud' (without quotes) at the command prompt and follow the simple instructions. You will be asked to select the points and set the surface generation options.
