Partition Zapper 1.0

From the developer: "Partition Zapper - Deletes hard disk partitions when Microsoft FDisk won't. Partition Zapper is an easy-to-use, inexpensive program that deletes all partitions from a PC hard drive regardless of the operating system that created them. Problem: Frequently when downgrading from a newer version of Windows to an older version, Microsoft FDISK will be unable to delete the existing partitions on the PC hard drive. Microsoft FDISK may also be unable to delete partitions created by Linux, many partitioning utilities, and many viruses.

"Solution: Partition Zapper removes all partitions from a PC hard drive, regardless of the operating system, utility, or virus that created them. This easy-to-use program can be run from a command prompt after booting from a floppy or system startup diskette. Once partitions are deleted by Partition Zapper, new partitions may be created using Microsoft FDISK so that a new operating system may be installed on the hard drive.

"Instructions: 1) Download pzapper.exe (14 KB). 2) Copy pzapper.exe to a floppy disk. 3) Boot the PC using a bootable diskette. 4) After PC has booted, replace the bootable diskette with the diskette containing pzapper.exe. 5) At the DOS promt, type A:\pzapper.exe and press enter. 6) Pzapper will guide you through the rest of the process. Follow the onscreen instructions."

Note: Trial version demonstrates operation of the program, but will not actually delete the partition table.
