Outlook Security Agent is a Microsoft Outlook plug-in specifically designed to filter all incoming e-mails and effectively block messages coming from suspicious and unknown sources. Unlike other anti-spam tools, Outlook Security Agent offers users complete control over all security features, as well as access to advanced settings for optimizing the filtering process. In fact, most of the application's controls can be configured either automatically or manually. For example, Outlook Security Agent offers a set of options allowing users to select the sources for collecting the trusted addresses that will make the white list, but both white and black lists can be edited manually. A similar case is for the quarantine folder: the items can be automatically deleted at fixed periods specified by users or they can be manually checked at any time.
