Metateque is a simple yet powerful authoring system/content management system for weblogs and web sites. It has minimal server requirements and provides for graphic editing of templates - avoiding the need for users to familiarise themselves with HTML, Perl, CGI and other server scripting. Metateque includes content aggregation tools that enable the user to import or 'drag and drop' content from web monitoring services or other web sites directly into the content editing system ready for publishing. Other features include concurrent management of multiple sites, offline site preview, date indexed archiving, image management, easy creation of links to other URLs and downloadable media, one-click publishing and the creation of highlights and categories to enable site visitors easier access to content that interests them.
