From the developer: "The Infosec Pager is a valuable tool for all the security professionals, system administrators or just simple enthusiasts. It is a software client which keeps itself loaded in the taskbar. Every certain time (configurable) it connects to the web and reports all the latest updates for security news, advisories and cybercrimes. The client allows the user to look for the updates of some specific advisories (*nix, win* or general) or it looks for specific keyword occurrence in the collected information flow. The InfoSec Pager connects every time to the web through port 80 and looks for fresh info therefore it doesn't introduce any new security threat than any normal browser."
