Binary Vortex downloads files from Usenet Newsgroups. Binary Vortex is optimized for downloading images, and includes both thumbnail and full-screen image viewers. Movies, MP3 files, sound files, applications, and other types of files may be downloaded as well. Binary Vortex is designed to be very easy to use, and is well suited for novice users. The shareware version is fully functional with no disabled features or expiration. Binary Vortex even supports the new Yenc encoding format, in addition to traditional encoding methods such as UUencode , Mime, and Base-64. Binary Vortex includes a 'kill list' than can be used to filter out content (or spam) from undesirable authors or about undesirable subjects.
