ArKaos VJ is a real-time multimedia authoring program geared for live music performances and similar projects. With it, you can edit and manipulate visual performances made from still images and video footage while they happen. Apply more than 60 real-time visual effects, each with its own customizable set of parameters. Apply multiple effects to any given footage. Create video loops on the fly. Use multiple keyboard mapping configurations to trigger images and effects. Use VJ's support for full MIDI suites and music authoring applications as Cubase for integrated audio-visual performances.

Version 3.0 is a major update. Arkaos VJ can now render 32-bit colors and can work with alpha channels from the source. You can also now use video from external sources through FireWire or your video card and display them through ArKaos VJ (even with an effect). Transfer modes let you combine your visuals together by using masks and copy modes.
